Aptimyz is a SaaS platform offering an all-in-one retail management solution — combining point-of-sale, inventory control, promotions, ecommerce, and back-office management for small to mid-sized businesses and enterprise retailers. I was brought in as the sole developer to build their institutional marketing website from scratch, owning the full frontend and content architecture end-to-end.
The Challenge
A SaaS marketing site needs to do several things at once: communicate a complex product clearly, guide different buyer personas through the right information, and convert visitors into signups or demo requests — all while being easy for a non-technical team to update over time. The content management layer was as important as the frontend itself.
What I Built
The site was built entirely by me using Next.js and CSS, with MDX handling content rendering and Strapi serving as the headless CMS on the backend:
- Homepage — designed and developed the main landing page presenting Aptimyz's core value proposition to retail business owners, with clear messaging around the platform's all-in-one approach to POS, inventory, and ecommerce management
- Features page — built the product features section breaking down Aptimyz's key capabilities — from point-of-sale and inventory control to promotions management and back-office reporting — structured to inform and convert prospects evaluating the platform
- Pricing page — developed the pricing section presenting Aptimyz's subscription tiers in a clear, comparable format to help buyers make informed decisions quickly
- MDX content layer — integrated MDX for flexible content rendering, enabling rich, component-driven content pages that go beyond standard markdown without requiring a full CMS rebuild per page
- Strapi CMS backend — set up and configured Strapi as the headless CMS, giving the Aptimyz team a clean admin interface to manage and update site content independently without touching the codebase
- Responsive layout — ensured full mobile compatibility across all pages, maintaining visual hierarchy and readability from desktop down to mobile viewports
Outcome
A complete, independently built SaaS marketing site — from architecture to deployment — with a content management setup that empowers the Aptimyz team to own their content without developer dependency. Built to convert retail business owners exploring an all-in-one management platform.
